Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the Balloon Museum in relation to Balloon Fiesta Park?
The Balloon Museum is directly south adjacent to the massive Balloon Fiesta Park and overlooks the entire field.
How do I get to the Balloon Museum?
Your Diamond Club parking passes will include a detailed map on how to get here. We will send additional online directions to you with your confirmation receipt.
Where do I park?
Parking is on site, handicapped spaces are available and all Diamond Club spaces are reserved and just steps away from your Diamond Club experience.
How/when do I get my Diamond Club credentials and parking pass?
You will receive you passes via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation (your number will be emailed and you can check your receipt status at www.usps.com). If your order was placed too close to the event you will be instructed to pick up your package at a designated will call location.
What time should I plan on arriving for the morning events?
The morning ascensions begin at 7:00am, however, we recommend trying to arrive, on site, as early as 5:30am. Please know that there is very heavy traffic after 5:30am.
What time should I plan on arriving for the evening events?
The evening balloon glows begin at 5:45pm, however, we recommend trying to arrive, on site, as early as 4:30pm. Please know that there is very heavy traffic after 5:00pm.
What is the dress code?
The Fiesta is all about fun and frivolity! Be casual and comfortable and if the wind moves you wear your most outrageous balloon hat covered with balloon pins! For the morning we suggest layering your clothes so you can remove them as the cool Albuquerque mornings warm to great the sunny afternoons. Bring a light jacket/coat for evening events if you plan to go down to the field or take a stroll on the grounds of the Balloon Museum under the spectacular night skies blanketed in sparkling stars.
What if it rains or the events on the field are cancelled on the day(s) of my reservation?
The Diamond Club is a rain or shine event and no refunds will be given in the case of a cancelation on the field. All amenities will be offered and the Balloon Museum will be opened extended hours regardless of on field activities.
Can I purchase Diamond Club passes at the Museum, at the door, or from the field?
Between April 1, 2009 and September 1, 2009 you may only purchase advance Diamond Club passes from the website. These exclusive passes for this unique event are only available here and in the Balloon Museum Shoppe. You will not be able to purchase tickets anywhere else in the world! We anticipate all passes to be sold out by September 26, 2009. We strongly suggest purchasing your packages today well in advance of the event.
